About ShipSeeker
ShipSeeker helps importers and sourcing teams answer two questions: what will this cost to land, and where should I source it? Look up any product's duty rate, estimate total landed cost by country of origin, compare sourcing alternatives, and track how global trade is shifting — all built on official government data.
What you can do
- Landed-cost calculator — duty + Section 301 + CBP fees (MPF/HMF) for any HTS code and origin.
- Origin comparison (China+1) — see the cheapest country to import a product from, including free-trade-agreement preference rates.
- Bulk PO calculator — cost an entire purchase order at once and export to CSV.
- Trade & tariff insights — China tariff exposure, biggest U.S. trade deficits, most-tariffed and fastest-growing imports.
- Global trade by country — imports, exports, partners and the world's top exporters for any product.
- Tariff & trade alerts (Pro) — get emailed when a duty rate changes on the HS codes you watch.
- Developer API (Business) — duty, landed-cost and exporter data over a JSON API.
Where the data comes from
ShipSeeker is built on the U.S. Census Bureau International Trade data (233 countries, 98 product categories, through Mar 2026), UN Comtrade global trade across 58 reporting economies, and the USITC Harmonized Tariff Schedule for duty rates.
All figures are official trade values and tariff rates. Duty and landed-cost figures are estimates for planning — they exclude anti-dumping/countervailing duties and don't constitute customs or legal advice. ShipSeeker is independent and not affiliated with any government agency.
